Riyadh – Mubasher: The Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Saudi Arabia decreased in December 2019 by 2.59% to 121.88 points, compared with its reading in November at 125.12.
The mining and quarrying activity index recorded 117.50 points, the manufacturing industry activity index recorded 139.83 points, and the electricity and gas supply activity index recorded 88.97 points, as shown by the data of the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat).
This shows a decline in the mining and quarrying activity by 3%, and by 2% and 1.73% in manufacturing and electricity and gas supply, respectively.
