Riyadh – Mubasher: Jarir Marketing on Tuesday said that its net profit increased by 18.15% in 2017, compared to the year before.
Net profit rose to SAR 867.6 million during 2017, from SAR 734.3 million a year earlier, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
The Saudi Arabia-based company attributed the growth in its annual profits to a rise in retail sales of most sections especially electronics backed by smartphone sales, as well as an increase in showrooms to 50 up from 45, and a decrease in non-operating expenses.
The stock rose 1.04%, closing Monday at SAR 166.40.
