Saudi King names Al-Ramah as 1st female deputy for MLSD

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a royal decree to appoint Tamadar bint Yousef Al-Ramah as the first deputy of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) on Monday, 26 February.

This position is a rare senior government post for a woman in the conservative nation.

In October 2017, Al Ramah was appointed as an undersecretary for the MLSD, to be the second woman holding this position.
