Saudi MoF to pump SAR 756m in 17 projects

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced signing 17 agreements to finance healthcare, education, and hotel projects at a combined value of SAR 755.81 million in the coming period.

The investments in these projects will reach SAR 1.55 billion in a bid to spur pumping more liquidity in the private sector's services projects, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the MoF as saying.

The projects include establishing eight hospitals and medical complexes at a total value of SAR 407.78 million in Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Abu Arish, Abha, and Buraydah, according to Tariq Alshuhayeb, deputy finance minister for revenues.

There will be eight education projects that will be built at a combined value of SAR 340.74 million in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah, while a three-star hotel will be established in Jizan, Alshuhayeb concluded.
