Saudi NWC opens 2 sewage projects in Jeddah

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi National Water Company (NWC) has completed the first phase of upgrading the efficiency of old sewage networks in Jeddah via inaugurating two projects in the regions of Ghulail and Al Baghdadia.

These projects are part of National Transformation Programme 2020, and Saudi Vision 2030 to improve the public services in Jeddah, according to NWC’s statement on Monday.

During the current period, there are some designs and solutions to contribute to raising sewage networks’ efficiency that will be carried out in the second phase during 2018, a Saudi official noted.

The projects were implemented in less than six months after hiring contractors, manager of NWC’s Jeddah business unit Mohammed Al-Zahrani stated, giving no further details on their value.
