Saudi Nazaha denies requesting bank transfers from individuals

Riyadh - Mubasher: The National Anti-Corruption Commission, also known as Nazaha, has denied news that it had contacted individuals and entities and asked them to make bank transfers.

Nazaha's statement came after receiving inquiries from citizens saying that they had received phone calls alleged to be from Nazaha, requesting them to transfer sums of money to protect them after detecting external transfers from their bank accounts.

The anti-corruption commission further added that it was investigating these calls.

The kingdom's anti-corruption body Nazaha labelled the calls as ‘fraud’, pledging to take the necessary measures in collaboration with the concerned parties.

Nazaha urged citizens to inform it about this manipulation.
