Riyadh-Mubasher: The Council of Economic and Development Affairs gave the green light for converting Saudi Post into a holding company, Al-Yaum newspaper reported.
The new entity will oversee other companies providing post service in the kingdom, such as Express Mail Services and Shaher for Financial Remittances.
The conversion will come into effect this year.
“Most sectors, which obtained the approval to convert into companies, will be linked to Saudi Post after being converted into a holding company” said Samir Nahhas, regional manager of Saudi Post.
