Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with pioneering technology company Hewlett-Packard (HP).
The deal aims at boosting the kingdom's information technology (IT) sector, in addition to attracting state-of-the-art innovations and foreign investments as part of the National Transformation Programme, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing SAGIA’s governor Ibrahim Al-Omar as saying.
This step also supports Saudi Vision 2030 and digital transformation in the GCC nation to be a regional centre for information and telecommunication technologies, Al-Omar added.
