Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Arabia Monetary Authority (SAMA) specified working hours for banks in Islam's holy month of Ramadan and the holiday of the Muslim Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha feasts.
Working hours in banks during Ramadan will start from 10:00 am Saudi time, until 4:00 pm, according to SAMA’s statement.
Eid Al-Fitr’s holiday will start by the end of Tuesday working hours, 28 Ramadan 1439 Hijri date, corresponding to 12 June, and work will be resumed on 20 June, the Saudi central bank noted.
It further added that Eid Al-Adha’s (the Muslim feast of sacrifice) holiday will begin by the end of working day on Thursday, 5 Zulhijja 1439 Hijri date, corresponding to 16 August 2018, while work will be resumed on 15 Zulhijja, corresponding to 26 August.
