Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and Chinese tech giant Huawei have launched the first trial of indoor 5G 3.5GHz in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The new telecom technology trial includes the verification of 5G technologies and air interface DL peak throughput.
STC pledged to offer its customers a faster and better user experience, according to Arabian Business.
Last year, STC inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huawei to cooperate in the field of fifth generation (5G) wireless networks and technology.
