Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) has announced the issuance of 889 media licenses and no objection certificates (NOCs) among them 29 certificates during 2018.
Issued by the GCAM, licenses accounted at 292, followed by retail and leasing licenses for media content, which reached 250, while retail licenses for media content receivers recorded 194, according to an official statement.
The GCAM is developing its strategy for home entertainment for citizens and residents by strengthening regulatory frameworks, improving internal and external procedures.
