Riyadh – Mubasher: Net foreign assets held by Saudi banks declined in October 2020 for the third successive month to reach a six-month low.
The Saudi banking sector’s net foreign assets reached SAR 88.22 billion in October, a decline of 11.9% or SAR 11.95 billion when compared to SAR 100.17 billion in September, according to data collected by Mubasher based on figures from the Saudi Central bank (SAMA).
On a yearly basis, the net foreign assets grew by 10.07% or SAR 8.07 billion last October when compared to SAR 80.15 billion in the year-ago month.
