Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi banks will stop dealing the riyal notes to replace it with one and two riyal coins by depositing them at the banks.
The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) told the banks through a letter to stop dealing with the riyal note gradually until replacing it with the new riyal coins, said Aleqtisadiah newspaper.
In October, the SAMA’s governor Ahmed Alkholifey stated that the riyal note will not be existed in the coming period.
