Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Monday on a negative note after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down 16.66 points, or 0.2%, to 8,226 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 27.4 million shares, via 17,000 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 750 million.
The materials and banks sectors levelled down 0.53% each.
On the other hand, the food and beverages sector rose 1.54%, while telecommunication services inched up 0.26%.
Salama Cooperative Insurance’s stock led losers with 8.93%, whereas Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair’s stock was the best performer after growing 7.48%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, edged down 2.35 points, or 0.08%, reaching 2,834.92 points.
Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock decreased 4.93%.
