Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 17.58 points, or 0.21%, reaching 8,443.87 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 20.77 million shares, through 16,380 transactions, generating SAR 415.45 million.
The capital goods sector led gainers with 1.1%, followed by telecommunication services with 1%, while real estate management and development sector gained 0.4%, materials rose 0.24%, and banks inched up 0.14%.
On the other hand, the retailing sector shed 0.47% and the consumer services sector fell 0.4%.
Al Babtain Power Telecommunication Co.’s stock topped risers with 7.9%, whereas Abdul Mohsen Al Hokair Group for Tourism and Development Co’s was the worst performer with 6%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 10.95 points, or 0.29%, to 3,737 points.
Baazeem Trading Co’s edged down 0.8%, while the stock of Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company decreased 0.1%.
