Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s exports of building and construction materials increase by a fixed rate of 6% annually, said Feras Abalkhail, general director of Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA).
He added that the GCC region dominates 60% of Saudi exports, followed by North Africa (13%). Meanwhile, the other countries account for 27%.
During BIG 5 DUBAI 2015, held in Dubai World Trade Centre on 23-26 November, Abalkhail said the MENA region imported products worth SAR 8.5 billion last year, which indicates that Saudi manufacturers have good opportunities to increase their market share in the next five years.
More than 100 Saudi companies and factories are participating in the three-day event under the Saudi pavilion organised by SEDA and sponsored by SABIC and Riyadh Chamber of Commerce.
