Riyadh - Mubasher: The inventories of cement and clinker in Saudi Arabia increased since the beginning of 2016.
Clinker stocks reached 27.66 million tonnes by the end of November, compared to 27 million tonnes in October, with an increase of 2.4%.
Cement inventories on the other hand, totalled 1.131 million tonnes until November compared to 1.43 million tonnes by the end of October, registering a 1% decline, according to Yamama Cement.
Saudi Cement Company came in the lead with inventories of 218,000 of cement by November 2016 compared to 199,000 tonnes in the same period in 2015, and 4.6 million tonnes of clinker in November compared to 3.9 million tonnes in the same period last year.
Yamama Cement came in second with 107,000 tonnes of cement and 4.2 million tonnes of clinker in November 2016, compared to 84,000 and 3.44 million tonnes respectively in the same period in the previous year.
