Riyadh-Mubasher: Contracting projects in Saudi Arabia are impacted by tumbling oil prices, Al-Yaum newspaper reported, citing Osama Al-Afaliq, head of Saudi Commission for Contractors.
He expected contracting projects to fall 30% on low oil revenues.
Contractors continue executing several infrastructure projects, Al-Afaliq said, noting that the budget of this year indicates that the government continues spending on infrastructure projects.
The official expressed confidence in the private sector to implement diversified projects.
