Riyadh-Mubasher: The Saudi Commission for Contractors plans to contract specialised consultancy offices to make its general restructuring, OKAZ newspaper reported.
The commission stated that the government gives priority to technical evaluation rather than financing rating. Thus, the companies planning to participate in the awarding should submit their documents to be studied first.
The commission will discuss several issues related to the contracting sector in the next meeting scheduled for 26 January, said Osama Al-Afaliq, the commission's president.
He added that the transparency related to setting prices needs a mechanism to compile information, noting that the commission will focus on boosting confidence in the market over the next period.
