Saudi economy to grow 1.8% in 2018 - World Bank

Riyadh – Mubasher: The World Bank has expected Saudi Arabia's economy to rise to 1.8% in 2018, while it may reach 2.1% during 2019.

By 2020, the kingdom’s economy is forecast to achieve a 2.3% growth, the bank’s Global Economic Prospects Report (PDF) showed.

The Washignton-based lender’s report further noted that listing the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on the Financial Times Stock Exchange Index (FTSE) is expected to attract more foreign investments to the GCC nation.
