Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s minister of economy and planning Mohammad Al Tuwaijri on Thursday expected that the kingdom’s economy will increase by 2.6% during 2019, while non-oil industry is forecast to grow 2.4%.
The GCC nation also plans to launch programme for developing domestic industry over the coming period, Al Tuwaijri added in an interview with Al Arabiya channel, on the sidelines of World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Saudi Arabia aims to achieve balance between local and global markets in debt instruments issue, Al Tuwaijri indicated, concluding that the kingdom nods to issue $32 billion in 2019.
On a separate note, the Saudi official stated that his country will offer another water desalination plant for privatisation in the next week.
