Saudi education ministry to launch EduTech Digital Summit this week

Riyadh – Mubasher: Terrapinn Middle East unveiled the first details of the upcoming EduTech Digital Summit that will take place on 5-6 October live from Riyadh city.

Organised alongside the Saudi Ministry of Education, the event will host keynote speakers and about 4,000 attendees from around the world, according to a press release on Sunday.

“The sudden closure of schools and universities across the world due to the recent global pandemic has necessitated the online delivery of education for all ages. And while there have been inevitable teething problems, the entire education community has been collaborating and are hard at work identifying key practices for successful online learning,” said managing director of Terrapinn Middle East, David Beguely.

The EduTech Digital Summit is part of an international conferences programme, taking place as part of The International Conferences Program to honour the G20 Saudi presidency year 2020.

Furthermore, the show will be aligned to key G20 topics and themes, including the Presidency Agenda’s first pillar: Empowering People, by creating the conditions in which all people can live, work, and thrive.

“The EduTech Digital Summit will focus on the strategies, technologies, and big ideas that will be essential for education professionals in the new school year ahead. We are excited to announce the next round of impressive speakers and look forward to welcoming the world’s education professionals to join us at the virtual summit,” concluded Beguely.
