Saudi exports rise SAR 6.3bn in July - GASTAT

Riyadh – Mubasher: The export of Saudi goods rose by 11% or around SAR 6.342 billion to SAR 63.9 billion in July 2017, compared to SAR 57.559 billion in the same period in 2016, data released Thursday indicated.

Month-on-month, the total value of exported goods rose by 10.8% or SAR 6.233 billion from June 2017, according to Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

Exported goods cover both oil and non-oil exports.

Petroleum exports rose 6.3% or SAR 2.863 billion to SAR 47.984 billion in July from SAR 45.121 billion in the year-ago period, GASTAT said in its report.

Compared to June, petroleum exports were up 5.2%.

Meanwhile, non-oil exports amounted to SAR 15.917 billion in July, up 28% from SAR 12.438 billion in the same period of 2016, and up 32% or by around SAR 3.857 billion in June, the data showed.
