Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Government decided to pay part of the dues to contracting companies including Saudi Binladin Group (SBG) and Saudi Oger Ltd, the head of the contractors committee, Fahd Al Hammadi told Al Arabiya TV on Sunday.
The government has paid about SAR 40 billion worth of dues to contractors so far, he added.
Al Hammadi also highlighted that small, medium and large companies benefited from this payment, hoping that the remaining amount of SAR 100 billion will be delivered during the upcoming few weeks.
The head of the contractors committee yesterday pointed out that the contracting and construction sector regained its strength after the companies received 25% of their total dues.
