Riyadh-Mubasher: More than SAR 41 billion worth of investments can be injected into the Saudi healthcare sector, Al-Yaum newspaper reported, citing Mazen Batterjee, vice chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.

He added that the government allocated SAR 104.86 billion for the healthcare services and social development.

“A total of 18 US companies will visit the kingdom in April to discuss the mechanisms of developing and improving the healthcare sector,” Batterjee said.

On the sidelines of the Saudi-International Healthcare Forum, the official said the partnership between the private and public sectors is of a significant importance and the private sector has great opportunities to boost its contribution to the local healthcare sector.

“We work through Jeddah Chamber to enhance and develop this important sector through highlighting the investment opportunities,” Batterjee said.
