Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Housing will offer books of specifications to build around 110,000 units under the Off-Plan Sales Programme "Wafi" in July, Al Iqtisadiya newspaper reported, citing housing minister Majed Al Hogail as saying.
Speaking at a chamber of commerce event in Jazzan, the minister highlighted that the ministry will provide facilities to investors, the newspaper added.
Al Hogail said he expects the Saudi financing sector to rise in the coming five years to SAR 550 billion from its current SAR 280 billion.
We aim to increase the Real Estate Development Fund's (REDF) capital to SAR 190 billion from SAR 180 billion currently, so that it would be higher than the capitals of all banks in the country, he added.
