Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi imports increased by 4.9% or SAR 6.2 billion in the first half of 2018.
Imported goods amounted to SAR 132.9 billion in Q2-18, compared with SAR 126.7 billion in the same period last year, as shown by the data of the General Authority for Statistics.
Imports also rose by 7.7% quarter-on-quarter, compared to its level in Q1-18 at SAR 9.5 billion.
Vehicles equipment and components saw a rise in imports by 24.5% to SAR 23.5 billion, while metal products increased by SAR 1.5 billion, with chemicals adding SAR 1.48 billion during the same period.
