Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Sunday's trading session on a mixed note after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 65.76 points, or 0.82%, reaching 7,972.05 points, registering its lowest level since 16 May 2018, while the parallel market increased.
TASI’s trading volume reached 101.5 million shares on Sunday, down from 142.05 million on Thursday, while traded value fell to SAR 2.07 billion, from SAR 3.2 billion, registering liquidity’s lowest level in nine months or since 6 September 2017.
The real estate management and development sector levelled down 2.36%, followed by the bank and materials sectors with 0.87% and 0.68%, respectively.
On the other hand, the telecommunication services sector rose 1.12%, followed by the food and staples retailing, and energy sectors.
Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) stock led losers with 9.91% to close at SAR 10.18, whereas Saudi Cable Co’s stock was the best performer with 6.39%, reaching SAR 8.82.
In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, jumped 60.08 points, or 1.97% to finish at 3,106.43 points.
