Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday's trading session in the red, after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased 3.08 points, or 0.04%, to 8,314.19 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 154.4 million shares on Thursday, up from 118.6 million shares on Wednesday, while traded value rose to SAR 3.62 billion ($966.4 million), from SAR 2.68 billion ($713.3 million).
The insurance sector fell 1.13%, while banking sector inched down 0.33. The materials sector remained unchanged.
On the other hand, the real estate management and development, and telecommunication services sectors levelled up 2.13% and 0.09%, respectively.
Al Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance’s stock was the worst performer after declining 4.23%, whereas Saudi Industrial Export Co’s (SIEC) stock led gainers after growing 9.93%.
In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, plunged 52.39 points, or 1.71%, to finish at 3,016.06 points.
Baazeem Trading’s stock was the parallel market's worst performer with 6.32%, whereas the stock of Abo Moati for Bookstores increased 1.79%.
