Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed Monday’s trading session with a positive performance.
TASI inched up 15.9 points, or 0.18%, to finish the session at 8,827.01 points.
TASI’s turnover increased to SAR 2.58 billion on Monday, compared to SAR 1.84 billion on Sunday, while the main market’s traded volume increased to 116.16 million shares from 89.28 million the session before.
The utilities sector topped the risers and added 2.79%, followed by the telecommunication and banking sectors with 0.45% and 0.44%, respectively.
On the negative side, the healthcare sector headed the losers falling 0.64%, while the materials sector decreased by 0.58%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, went down 136.78 points, or 3.53%, ending the session at 3,733.85 points.
