Saudi indices end Sunday’s trade on mixed note

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Sunday’s trading session with a positive performance, hitting the highest level in 20 sessions.

TASI rose by 46.93 points, or 52%, to finish the session at 9,015.16 points.

TASI’s turnover shrank to SAR 3.06 billion on Sunday, compared to SAR 3.92 billion on Thursday, while the market’s traded volume decreased to 124.49 million shares from 135.09 million the session before.

The retailing sector topped the risers adding 2.9%, followed by the telecommunication and commercial services sectors with 1.6% and 0.9%, respectively.

Similarly, the banking sector increased by 0.6%, while the materials sector levelled up 0.4%.

On the negative side, the food and beverages sector headed the bourse’s decliners falling 1.05%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, went down 24.29 points, or 0.64%, ending the session at 3,749.70 points.
