Saudi indices end Wednesday mixed

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday's trading session on a mixed note after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 23.67 points, or 0.28%, to 8,383.23 points, while the parallel market index edged up. 

TASI’s trading volume stood at 154 million shares on Wednesday, against 138 million shares on Tuesday, while traded value increased to SAR 3.8 billion, from SAR 3.4 billion.

The media, materials, and banking sectors levelled down 1.46%, 0.88%, and 0.35%, respectively.

On the other hand, the real estate management and development sector went up 0.9%, while the telecommunication services sector grew 0.07%.

Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock was the worst performer with 2.8%, whereas Saudi Dairy and Foodstuff Company’s (SADAFCO) stock topped risers with 6.08%.

Dar Al-Arkan Real-Estate Development Company’s stock acquired trading volume activities after 41.7 million shares were exchanged, while the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation’s (SABIC) stock generated the highest liquidity with SAR 616 million.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled up 11.5 points, or 0.37%, to finish at 3,081.73 points.
