Saudi indices end in green Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday’s trading session in positive territory, for the fourth session in a row, backed by the massive growth of the sectors.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 15.08 points, or 0.19%, to finish the first session of the week at 7,968.44 points.

TASI’s traded volume stood at 205.67 million shares on Sunday, against 229.8 million on Thursday, while the index's turnover decreased to SAR 4.65 billion, from SAR 5.56 billion in the previous session.

The consumer durables and apparel topped the gainers adding 1.9%, followed by the material, telecommunication and banking sectors with 0.78%, 0.14% and 0.08%, respectively.

On the negative side, the pharma sector topped the market’s eight decliners falling 2.23%.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, Nomu, inched up 0.3% or 8.86 points, to close at 2,922.55 points.

Al Khathiri’s stock topped Nomu’s gainers adding 2.17% at SAR 27.35.
