Saudi indices go down at Thursday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday’s session in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 17 points, or 0.2%, reaching 8,389.45 points.

By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 14 million shares, through 13,700 transactions, generating SAR 311 million.

The food and beverages sector led losers with 0.63%, followed by the banking and telecommunication services sectors with 0.36% and and 0.34%, respectively.

On the other hand, the energy sector rose 0.77%, while the materials sector inched up 0.05%.

Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock led decliners with 2.1%, while the stock of Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Company was the best performer after growing 6.3%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, tumbled 7.06 points, or 0.26%, to 2,733.72 points.

Raydan Co’s stock levelled down 1.81%.
