Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading session in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 33.43 points, or 0.4%, to 8,560.14 points.
By 10:47 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 22.7 million shares exchanged through 20,160 transactions at a turnover of SAR 519.86 million.
The food and beverages sector led gainers with 1.6%, followed by the healthcare sector with 0.6%.
The banking, materials and telecommunication services sectors inched up 0.48%, 0.4%, and 0.13%, respectively.
On the other hand, the utilities sector fell 1.4%, while the food and staples retailing sector shed 0.48%.
Saudi Amiantit Group’s stock topped the bourse’s gainers with 4.7%, while the Saudi Electricity Company’s (SEC) stock was the worst performer with 1.7%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased 4.48 points, or 0.14%, to 3,173.35 points.
The stocks of Al Omran Industrial and Trading Company and Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company levelled up 0.5%, and 0.18%, respectively.
