Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading session with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 48 points, or 0.6%, reaching 8,319.2 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 16 million shares exchanged through 16,170 transactions at a turnover of SAR 436.2 million.
The healthcare, banking, materials, and telecommunication services sectors levelled up 1.17%, 0.93%, 0.31%, and 0.18%, respectively.
On the other hand, the retailing sector shed 0.38%, while the energy sector inched down 0.37%.
Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock led gainers with 5.13%, while Leejam Sports Company’s stock was the worst performer with 1.4%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, rose 5.04 points, or 0.19%, to 2,616.59 points.
Raydan Co’s stock went up 1.41%.
