Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday’s trading session in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 72.4 points, or 0.87%, to 8,419.7 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 28.4 million shares exchanged through 23,200 transactions at a turnover of SAR 604.2 million.
The banking, materials, and telecommunication services sectors went up 1.15%, 1.03%, and 0.09%, respectively.
On the other hand, the utilities sector fell 0.22%, while the insurance sector shed 0.12%.
Tabuk Cement Company’s stock led gainers after jumping 10%, while Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock was the worst performer with 2.4%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased 1 point, or 0.04%, to 2,802.74 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock rose 1.2%, while Development Works Food’s stock lost 0.46%.
