Saudi indices near stable at Tuesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading session with positive performance.

By 10:35 am Saudi time, the main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched up 3.50 points, or 0.04%, to 8,900.05 points.

TASI’s traded volume reached 17.38 million shares exchanged through nearly 15,450 transactions at a turnover of SAR 406.26 million.

The capital goods sector led risers and added 0.96%, while the food retail sector grew 0.5%.

On the other hand, the food production sector headed decliners after sliding 0.63%, followed by the media sector which tumbled 0.4%.

The stock of Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons topped gainers with 8.9%, whereas Banque Saudi Fransi’s stock led fallers and dropped 1.7%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, edged down 2.62 points, or 0.07%, to 3,718.66 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer with 2.1%.
