Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading session with a negative performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 3.74 points, or 0.05%, to 7,726.84 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 22.25 million shares exchanged through 21,260 transactions at a turnover of SAR 504.39 million.
The transportation sector inched down 0.4%, followed by the consumer durables and apparel sector with 0.2%.
The banking sector levelled down 0.14%, while the materials sector tumbled 0.1%.
On the other hand, the capital goods and media sectors rose 1.1%, and 0.8%, respectively.
Amana Cooperative Insurance’s stock led losers with 8.8%, while the stock of the Saudi Industrial Export Company (SIEC) was the best performer after adding 7.1%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, tumbled 14.36 points, or 0.6%, to 2,352.55 points.
Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock went down 0.24%.
