Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 3.53 points, or 0.05%, to 7,850.46 points.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 31.2 million shares exchanged through 23,570 transactions at a turnover of SAR 545.2 million.
The capital goods sector increased 3.27%, followed by the banking and materials sectors with 0.06% and 0.03%, respectively.
On the other hand, the healthcare sector fell 1.67%, while the telecommunication services sector inched down 0.06%.
Saudi Ceramic Co.’s stock was the best performer with 9.92%, while National Medical Care Company’s was the worst performer with 10%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market grew 2.31 points, or 0.09%, to 2,525.04 points.
Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock was Nomu’s best performer after jumping 5.51%.
