Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Monday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 43 points, or 0.55%, to 7,888.13 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 27 million shares exchanged through 19,000 transactions at a turnover of SAR 665.4 million.
The real estate investment traded funds (REITs) sector led gainers with 1.74%, while the materials and banking sectors added 1.07% and 0.31%, respectively.
On the other hand, the healthcare, consumer services, and telecommunication services sectors decreased 0.18%, 0.08%, and 0.01%, respectively.
Chubb Arabia Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock topped gainers with 3.3%, while Saudi Chemical Co’s stock led losers with 2.84%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, levelled up 9.6 points, or 0.4%, to 2,411.9 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock led Nomu’s gainers with 3.5%.
