Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading session with negative performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 9.5 points, or 0.1%, reaching 9,230.2 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 34.3 million shares exchanged through 20,500 transactions at a turnover of SAR 692 million.
The retailing and materials sector levelled down 0.68%, and 0.4%, respectively.
On the other hand, the utilities sector led risers with 0.77%, followed by the telecommunication services and banking sectors with 0.16% and 0.02%, respectively.
Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company’s was the worst performer with 4.8%, while the stock of National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) led the gainers with 4.4%.
In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary, tumbled 5.86 points, or 0.16%, to 3,589.42 points.
Baazeem Trading Co’s stock declined 1.85% to lead the fallers.
