Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday's trading session with a mixed performance after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) dropped 4.62 points, or 0.06%, to 8,220.32 points, while the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market inched up 0.06% to 3,231.1 points.
By 10:42 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 35.89 million shares changed hands through 26,970 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 845.54 million.
The food and staples retailing sector fell 1.7%, followed by the energy segment with 0.5%.
While the pharmaceuticals, materials and telecommunication services segments declined 0.46%, 0.4%, and 0.05%, respectively.
On the flipside, the utilities, retailing, and banks sectors rose 0.85%, 0.5%, and 0.3%, respectively.
National Company for Glass Industries’ stock fell 2.4%, whereas Batic Investments and Logistics Co’s stock increased 5.8%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, levelled up 2.09 points, or 0.06%, to 3,231.1 points.
Raydan Co’s stock grew 3.5%, whereas the stocks of Al-Kathiri Holding Company and Abo Moati for Bookstores decreased 8.15% and 4%, respectively.
