Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday's trading session mixed, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 20.19 points, or 0.2%, to 8,319.67 points, whereas the parallel market edged up.
By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 26.46 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 634.8 million through 16,560 transactions.
The real estate investment traded funds (REITs) sector fell 1%, followed by the diversified financials sector with 0.8%.
The healthcare, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sectors tumbled 0.6%, 0.34%, 0.32%, and 0.1%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector inched up 0.95%, while food and beverages rose 0.7%.
The drop in the REITs sector was attributed to a 3.6% decrease in Taleem REIT Fund’s stock, followed by Al Mashaar REIT’s stock that dipped 2.4%, whereas Almarai Co’s stock increased 2.8%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled up 2.66 points, or 0.09%, to 2,975.19 points.
Baazeem Trading’s stock went up 3.3%, whereas the stocks of Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries and Thob Al-Aseel Company tumbled 4.1% and 0.3%, respectively.
