Saudi indices open Sunday mixed

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) started Sunday in the green after growing 89.48 points, or 1.13%, to 8,003.75 points, while the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market opened the first session of the week in the red. 

By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 41.13 million shares changed hands through 23,300 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 812.7 million.

The pharmaceuticals, media, telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors rose 4.72%, 4.4%, 1.64%, 1.57%, and 0.84%, respectively.

On the flipside, the capital goods sector fell 1.03%, while insurance shed 0.71%.

Saudi Real Estate’s (Al Akaria) stock led gainers with 9.96% to SAR 26.50, whereas Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance’s stock tumbled 6.92%, registering SAR 95.60.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, levelled down 8.42 points, or 0.28%, to 3,036.13 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock decreased 2.28%, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock increased 3.01% to SAR 29.05.
