Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 55.45 points, or 0.71%, to 7,817.2 points in Thursday’s early trades.
By 11:05 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 58.3 million shares changed hands through 31,800 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 1.29 billion.
The telecommunication services sector grew 3.3%, followed by materials with 1.01%, and banks with 0.71%.
On the other hand, the food and staples retailing sector fell 1.03%, while real estate investment traded funds (REITs) inched down 0.34%.
The Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC) stock gained 4.12% to SAR 81.90, whereas Salama Cooperative Insurance’s stock dropped 3.4% to SAR 26.45.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 6.68 points, or 0.22%, to 2,983.39 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock led risers with 0.83% to SAR 11.90, whereas Development Works Food’s declined 4% to SAR 65.10.
