Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday with a positive performance after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 28.60 points, or 0.37% to 7,830.87 points.
By 10:48 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 23.72 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 501.67 million through 21,960 transactions.
The capital goods, media, banking, telecommunication services, and materials sector increased by 1.9%, 0.9%, 0.5%, 0.5%, and 0.4%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector fell 0.7%, while the healthcare sector inched down 0.6%.
The Saudi Industrial Export Co’s (SIEC) stock led gainers with 9.99%, whereas Middle East Healthcare Company’s (Saudi German Hospital) stock was the worst performer with 6.8%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, edged up 0.5%, or 0.02%, to 2,525.11 points.
Raydan Co’s stock levelled up 0.02%.
