Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading session with a negative performance, dragged by the fall of blue-chip stocks.
By 10:40 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) plunged 0.69%, or 59.4 points, to 8,564.50 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 31.35 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 779.5 million through 28,600 transactions.
The banking sector topped losers falling 1.03%, followed by the basic materials and telecommunication sectors with 0.5% and 0.17%, respectively.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,816.5 points.
