Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday's trading session in red territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 20 points, or 0.24%, to 8,398 points, whereas the secondary market remained unchanged.
By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 17 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 400.78 million through 13,600 transactions.
The commercial and professional services sector decreased by 0.7%, followed by the bank sector with 0.61%. While the materials and telecommunication services sectors dropped 0.15% and 0.08%, respectively.
On the other hand, the retailing and media sectors added1.77% and 0.79%, respectively.
Banque Saudi Fransi’s stock fell 1.63%, whereas Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock rose 4.34%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained stable at 2,888.53 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock shed 0.55%, whereas Raydan Co’s stock inched up 0.30%.
