Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in red territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 15 points, or 0.19%, to 7,889.7 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 10.2 million shares exchanged through 9,770 transactions at a turnover of SAR 241.26 million.
The retailing, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sectors decreased by 0.6%, 0.54%, 0.33%, and 0.04%, respectively.
On the other hand, the capital goods sector rose 1.11%, while the media sector inched up 0.77%.
Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company’s (Sadafco) stock led losers with 1.49%, whereas the Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock was the best performer with 9.8%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, declined 0.98 points, or 0.04%, to 2,501.97 points.
Baazeem Trading’s stock shed 0.33%.
